Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz wore matching Rolexes after their Wimbledon final
Both players stepped out after the Wimbledon final with a version of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona strapped to their wrist

AS THE TWO titans positioned well ahead of the pack in men’s tennis, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz lead very similar lives. They both spend most of their time on the court, training or playing, and travel the world as a necessity of their profession. They also run in similar circles in the luxury space, with lucrative partnerships with some of the world’s most renowned fashion houses and watchmakers. And, it seems their similarities extend to their taste in watches.
Both Sinner and Alcaraz are global ambassadors for Rolex and have frequently been seen sporting one of the watchmaker’s pieces. After the Wimbledon final, in which Sinner defeated Alcaraz in four sets, both men stepped out post-match wearing near-identical Daytona Cosmographs.

Sinner raised the trophy with a Daytona peeking out from beneath the sleeve of his pristine white jacket. Alcaraz, lately proving to be ever the foil in both play and poise, wore a different version of the same model as he accepted his runner-up plate.
Let’s take a closer look at the pair’s choice of wristwear.

Sinner went with a 40mm Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (ref. 126515LN-0006) with an 18-carat Everose gold case. The pink dial (which Rolex calls sundust) is adorned with black subdials. The watch also features features a black Cerachrom bezel with a tachymetric scale and is priced at $66,400 AUD.

Sinner got the better of Alcaraz on the court, and indeed it was the Italian who outclassed the Spaniard post-match by breaking out the more valuable watch. Alcaraz’s Daytona is priced slightly more affordably at $63,100, but it’s just as pleasing to look at. It features a 40mm yellow gold case and a bright turquoise lacquer dial with black subdials. Like Sinner’s, Alcaraz’s Daytona also boasts a black Cerachrom bezel with a tachymetric scale. The pair clearly have a lot in common, with the only major difference between their taste in watches being that Alcaraz prefers yellow gold, and Sinner rose gold.
