The best dressed men at the 2025 Primetime Emmys, so far
"What's your favourite season?" / "Awards!"

TO KICK OFF THE 77TH PRIMETIME EMMYS, I would like to quote one of my favourite TV shows: Schitt’s Creek. “What’s your favourite season?” Alexis (Annie Murphy) asks her mother. “Awards,” says Moira (Catherine O’Hara), deadpan.
Indeed, we can bet the Rose matriarch is absolutely jubilant (she’d appreciate that word) now that her favourite season has arrived with TV’s night of nights. While the hit sitcom is no longer with us, there is plenty to be excited about in the hours ahead. Severance, The Penguin, The White Lotus and The Last of Us are among the most nominated in excess of 20 entries, respectively. In terms of the Aussies flying the flag, we have Cate Blanchett nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in Disclaimer*, and Curtis Stone – of all people – is nominated for Field Trip with Curtis Stone Hong Kong in the Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program category.
But first? The red carpet. The White Lotus gang have begun filtering in; Sam Nivola and Walton Goggins are the first to arrive. Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal’s (here for The Last of Us) arrival is imminent. One of the night’s biggest snubs also goes to Jacob Elordi and Simon Baker for their work in The Narrow Road to the Deep North. So not only have they not received their laurels for their roles there, the Emmys have taken two major red carpet moments!
Anyway, we round up the best dressed men at the Emmys below, so far. Be sure to check back here for updates.
