Oasis, adidas collaboration
Oasis brothers Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher.

WHEN OASIS ANNOUNCED they’d be collaborating with adidas to create a limited edition line to accompany their tour, we immediately asked: When! How! When?

We finally have the details: The collection, titled Oasis Live ’25, drops in Australia on 29 September,  the same week the band’s reunion tour hits local stages, reclaiming the silhouettes that became shorthand for the coolest kit during the ‘90s.

There are Firebird tracksuits (Noel’s perennial choice), raglan sleeve jerseys (the kind Liam once wore in a charity football match), coach jackets and bucket hats. Twenty-six pieces in total, each co-branded, each pulled from the band’s archive of looks that spanned Knebworth to Glastonbury. Adidas calls the campaign Original Forever, but the truth is these pieces never fell out of rotation. They’ve been remixed by generations of fans, re-emerging on football terraces, in pubs, in back-alley gigs and at festivals where someone, inevitably, belts out Wonderwall.

The launch film leans into this nostalgia, while still propelling the collection forward. Directed by Leigh Powis, it’s a swirl of crowd-surfers and archival nods that finally land backstage with Liam and Noel, still in their adidas, still looking like they’d fight you for the last pint. The soundtrack? Live Forever, lifted from Definitely Maybe, licensed for the first time to anything outside an Oasis record. It’s a shiver-down-the-spine moment for anyone who remembers playing the track on loop in a bedroom plastered with band posters.

Over 300 extras were cast straight from UK streets to star alongside the brothers, adding the grit and authenticity that defined both the brand and the band in the first place.

For a band that once claimed to be bigger than God, Oasis always had a knack for speaking for the common people. The swagger was there, the attitude was undeniable, but the wardrobe? It was built on Adidas. Terrace culture bled into Britpop, and the Gallagher brothers turned the humble tracksuit into a generational uniform.

On Monday 29 September, the adidas Originals x Oasis Live ’25 collection lands in adidas retail stores and online. Expect the drop to move quickly – 30 years on, Oasis still have the last word on what British style looks like.
