Anthony Breznican

Anthony Breznican is a film and television journalist who has been covering Hollywood for more than two decades. He is currently a freelance writer, but was previously on staff at Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly, and USA Today. He began his career as a breaking news reporter for The Associated Press, and has contributed to The New York Times, Playboy, and Newsday. He's also co-host of The Kingcast, a podcast where actors, directors and writers geek out about the stories of Stephen King. Breznican is the author of the 2014 novel Brutal Youth and has written non-fiction books such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Timeline and the upcoming Star Wars Icons: Darth Vader (April 2026). You can find him on Bluesky and Instagram.
