THE CLASSIEST EVENT of the film calendar is upon us: yes, Venice Film Festival is back. For the next week, the world’s biggest movie stars will arrive at Lido, the island in the Venice Lagoon where the festival is held, decked out in Hollywood glamour and designer suits as a host of highly anticipated films make their premiere.

So far, we’ve seen Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, starring Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, own the red carpet, while Alfonso Cuarón’s series for Apple TV, Disclaimer, received a six minute standing ovation. It stars Cate Blanchett, Louis Partridge and Kodi Smit-McPhee; the young Aussie actor ranks among our list of the best dressed men so far, cruising down the red carpet in a bedazzled Versace jacket.

On Tuesday, the cast of Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Queer’ hit the red carpet, decked out in head-to-toe Loewe – the brand’s creative director Jonathan Anderson also served as the film’s costume designer. He put Daniel Craig in a buttery yellow suit with ‘70s-style aviators, while former Esquire Local Knowledge contestant Omar Apollo rocked the watch-link tank top from the brand’s spring/summer 2025 collection.

With a few days of the festival still to go, there are still many good red carpet moments to be hard, so keep checking back here for more of the highlights. Here, we bring you a running list of the best dressed men from Venice Film Festival so far.
