THERE’S SOMETHING GOING ON with Brad Pitt’s wardrobe — and it’s not just the parachute pants or the velvet jackets or the loose silk shirts. There’s a shift, and it’s not accidental.

Recently, Pitt has been working with stylist Taylor McNeill — the name behind Timothée Chalamet’s recent A Complete Unknown press tour fits (yes, the leather pants, yes, the backless tops), and the brains behind Kendrick Lamar’s flared Celine denim and Lorde’s louche jeans moment. In other words, someone who knows how to turn a look into something.

In Pitt’s case, the results are less headline-grabbing and more quietly eccentric.

A deep burgundy knit polo paired with traffic-cone-orange trousers. A crushed blue velvet blazer worn over jeans for date night. Low-buttoned satin shirts. Even the sneakers are saying something — playful, mismatched, often vintage-looking. But there’s a real through-line here: comfort, character, and not taking it all too seriously.

It’s a departure from the classic Pitt we’ve come to expect. Gone are the perfectly tailored suits (though we’ve still seen a few great ones from Savile Row) and safe neutral layers. This version of Pitt is leaning into textures — velvet, silk, crushed cotton — and silhouettes that feel looser, slouchier, and a little bit cooler.

These outfits look like they’ve been thrown on with instinct rather than overly styled. Like he’s just having fun. And there’s something refreshing about seeing someone at his level step away from the expected and into something a bit more interesting. No showy logos (aside from the Gucci duffle, which we love).

Below, a look at some of his standout moments from the past week.

Here, he nodded to F1 with oversized nylon cargo pants — one leg repurposed from an Aston Martin racing suit. Paired with a paint-splattered green tee layered early-aughts style over a white long-sleeve.

Wearing a relaxed crushed velvet blazer from Willy Chavarria’s Fall 2025 collection, layered over a striped shirt and ultra-wide leg jeans. He grounded the look with chunky black boots.

Wearing tie-dye for a Tonight Show skit, standing next to a giggling Jimmy Fallon. Sure, we’ll chalk it up to costuming — but the vibe still stands.
