IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, Chris Eubank Jr. has a big fight this weekend. The Middleweight’s highly anticipated rematch against Conor Benn is being billed as the biggest fight of his career, so as you’d expect, much of Eubank’s focus is on preparing for the bout. But in between training and sparring sessions, he found the time to lift the lid on his impressive watch collection, in conversation with WatchGuys CEO Robertino Altieri.

Eubank Jr’s lineup is filled with classics. There’s a Rolex Daytona, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, a Patek Philippe Nautilus and a quartz Omega Seamaster among them. Each watch tells a story, reminding him of moments and milestones that shaped him. Some were rewards after big wins. Others, he admits, came during tougher times, small symbols of staying the course.

Like his fighting style, Eubank’s taste balances flashiness with control. The Nautilus and Royal Oak show his appreciation for a timeless design; the Franck Muller hints at a flair inherited from his father. And then there’s the quartz Omega, which is unfussy but reliable. Let’s take a closer look at Eubank Jr’s collection.

Market value: $42,000

Eubank’s model of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was designed by legendary watchmaker Gérald Genta. The steel stunner proved that luxury timepieces needn’t be composed of precious metal to hold value. For Eubank, it gets daily wear. “This watch gets the most time on my wrist. I simply love the bracelet. It’s the perfect blend of dress and sports watch,” he explained.

Eubank’s AP showed crisp edges but some love-wear on the bracelet – evidence of a disciplined owner who rotates his pieces. The Royal Oak’s tapered bracelet remains the benchmark for comfort in a luxury sports watch.

Market value: $10,000

The Franck Muller Conquistador King ‘Rosso Vivo’ is an oversized stainless-steel watch that was released in 2007. It was limited to just 200 pieces, and Eubank’s is number 48/200. The name translates to ‘live red, live bold,’ a mantra that resonates with the fighter.

The watch entered his collection during a local poker tournament. “I had won on a very big night,” Eubank recalled. Short on cash, the organisers offered the host’s wristwear instead. “It was worth about ten grand,” he said.

Patek Philippe Nautilus, ref. 5711/1A-010

Market value: $125,000

Eubank’s Patek Philippe Nautilus is another Gérald Genta masterpiece that raised the bar for sports watches when it launched as Patek’s riposte to the Royal Oak. Discontinued in 2021, the 5711 exploded in value amid celebrity frenzy and chronic undersupply, cementing its status as a cultural totem.

Eubank acquired his model – which has been upgraded with baguette diamonds – immediately after his first fight with Conor Benn. “I bought this one right after my fight with Conor Benn. I’d always wanted a watch with baguettes,” he said, noting that he’d owned a diamond-set AP previously, but the Nautilus was the grail. Eubank commissioned the custom diamond work, a modification that likely cost him $20,000–$30,000, pushing the watch’s value to around $125,000.

Market value: $4,500

The Breitling Chrono-Matic A41360, a left-crown pilot’s chronograph, is what Eubank bought with his first fight purse. “My dad always dressed sharp,” he said, “and this was my way of showing I could be my own man.”

“My first fight, I made twelve thousand pounds,” he laughed. “It’s gone up sizably to say the least since then.”

Omega Seamaster Chrono-Quartz ‘Albatros’, ref. ST 396.0839

Market value: $1,000

Created for the 1976 Montreal Olympics (with engraved rings on the caseback), this wide-bodied Omega Seamaster ‘Albatros’ was the world’s first analog-digital chronograph, blending traditional hands with an LED display. “I actually wore this watch a lot,” Eubank revealed. Far from flashy, the Albatros carries more historical weight than aesthetic appeal these days.

Market value: $18,500

Eubank Jr gained a new piece for his collection when WatchGuys CEO Robertino Altieri presented him with a one-of-one gold Rolex Daytona. “This is the first Rolex I’ve ever owned,” Eubank said. The caseback bears a custom engraving: Eubank vs Benn, nodding to the storied rivalry between the fighters’ fathers and the new chapter between their sons.
