Drake’s got a curated bra collection. An explainer
The Canadian singer has amassed thousands of bras from enthusiastic fans. He’s also got a Birkin bag wall. Here’s a look at the craziest things celebs collect.

DRAKE IS A show off. We all know that. And when you have more money than sense, you have plenty to exhibit, although his latest collection was one he didn’t have to fork out for: bras. “The Hotline Bling” singer has been getting showered with intimate under garments during his current It’s All A Blur tour.
While most people, when faced with a bra blizzard, might recycle or donate them to charity, the 36-year-old hitmaker prefers to hold onto them, showcasing the collection in a recent Instagram Story.
In the Story, two women, who are hopefully being adequately compensated for a thankless task, stand on either side of a large wheelie bin retrieving bras and throwing them in a pile. Presumably, these same women were then tasked with laying out the bras in immaculate, carefully curated rows—yes, celeb bra curation is a job.
Drake proudly posed in front of the collection in a pic cryptically captioned: “Remember when we both forgot who the heck I was in unison…that wavelength was definitely a foolish one”. If you know, you know, I guess.
That post has garnered a cool 2.7 million likes with commenters getting into the spirit.
“Went from It’s All a Blur to It’s All a Bra tour” said one.
Phoenix Suns player, Kevin Durant, simply says: “Tity Boy”.
While producer, BNYX, makes a valid point: “Praying for dude that had to lay these out. They’re organised by size.”
Of course, Drake is a renowned hoarder. He also has a wall of Hermès Birkin bags. In 2017 the singer revealed in an interview that he’d been collecting Birkin bags for years for “the woman I end up with”. Whenever she materialises, that lucky lady never has to shop for intimates again.
Celebs’ private collections can reveal a lot about their passions and peccadillos. In some cases they’re clearly blatant cash splashes, while others seem inspired by the boredom that can take hold during long hours on a tour bus. Others are a warning of what can happen when you’re surrounded by too many yes men: “Should I buy every Komodo dragon in the Tri-state area?”
“Sure, boss, great idea. I’ll get on it now”.
Here’s a look at some of the crazier things celebrities collect.
The craziest celebrity collections

Leonardo DiCaprio – action figures
Leo has a passion for vintage figurines from pop-culture classics such as Star Wars, He-Man, The “A” Team and Planet of The Apes, among others. Of course, he is not a 48-year-old virgin and occasionally auctions figures from his collection off, with proceeds going to the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

Penelope Cruz – coat hangers
The Spanish actress is reportedly hung up on coat hangers with over 500 non-metal varieties in her collection. Which begs a few questions. What happened to the garments they came with? How big is her wardrobe to house all these hangers?

Tom Hanks – vintage typewriters
The two-time Oscar winner and novelist has over 50 old typewriters, which he reportedly likes to write letters on. At least he uses them.

Sir Rod Stewart – model trains
One of the English crooner’s model railroads features 100 buildings. “I pity a man who doesn’t have a hobby like this one. It’s just the most supreme relaxation,” he said. He pities us?

Quentin Tarantino – board games
The filmmaker loves pop culture board games, including The Dukes of Hazzard and Dawn of the Dead games. Tarantino persuaded John Travolta to play Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction while playing
games from Travolta’s career, including the Grease and Saturday Night Fever board games. Clever.

Janet Jackson – pig figurines
Jackson said of her very odd collection: “I always wanted a hobby… so I decided to collect pigs. I have no idea why!” Something to explore in therapy.

Amanda Seyfried – Taxidermy
“When taxidermy is done well it’s an amazing piece of art,” the actress said when quizzed on her hobby. “I love animals and they’re very easy to look after when they’re dead.” As long as she doesn’t kill them, I guess this is okay.

Kelsey Grammar – first edition books
What did you expect from a guy who’s made a career out of playing pretentious intellectuals.

Angelina Jolie – knives
Long before her turn as Lara Croft, Jolie had a thing for blades, with her mum taking her to buy knives when she was 11.

Claudia Schiffer – bugs
The German model’s home is filled with images of bugs and insect-inspired artwork. She also likes clothing with insect prints and bug-shaped jewellery, with a preference for spiders. Creepy and crawly.
