FOOTBALL SUPERSTAR Cristiano Ronaldo is not only one of the greatest footballers of all time, he also boasts a body for the ages, as a new workout video reveals.

How does the Al-Nassr forward stay in such amazing shape at 38 years of age, you might wonder? As the new video shows, the key to Ronaldo’s jacked upper body is a high tempo, light-weight dumbbell circuit.

In the video, captioned ‘Feeling Good’, a shirtless Ronaldo completes a set of dumbbell shrugs, an exercise that aids shoulder and trap development. Next, he moves into a set of lateral raises, a classic head-of-the-shoulder burnisher, again working at high tempo. Ronaldo finishes the set with biceps curls. This time he uses slightly heavier weights while focusing on maintaining impeccable form.

Clearly happy with his work, a grinning Ronaldo signs off with a shoulder-tapping shimmy — may as well add a little cardio.

It’s not the first time Ronaldo has shared workouts with fans. During the pandemic he revealed his home workout routine, a bodyweight regimen targeting legs, abs, glutes, and lower-back strength.

A five time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo is currently in the off-season after transferring to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC back in January, in a two-and-a-half-year deal worth $315 million per season. The Portuguese superstar scored 14 goals in 16 matches for the Riyadh-based club, which finished second in the Saudi Pro League.

With off-season workouts like this one, Ronaldo is clearly going to be ready to roll when the new season starts in early August.
