Everything to know about Drake’s new album ‘Some Sexy Songs 4 U’ featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR
Currently on tour in Australia, the Canadian rapper announced the new album in the same week as Kendrick Lamar's knockout Super Bowl halftime show

SAY DRAKE, we hear you have a new album coming out. Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, Valentine’s Day, the Canadian rapper announced his new album Some Sexy Songs 4 U featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR.
Currently halfway through his Anita Max Win tour in Australia, en route from Melbourne to Sydney, there’s a likely chance that Drake will perform some of the 21 R&B tracks in Sydney on February 16 and 17. News of PARTYNEXTDOOR also arriving on our shores this week and popping into one of Drake’s Melbourne performances is stoking a live debut even more.
Yet, the other elephant – or mule – in the room remains. With Kendrick Lamar’s knockout Super Bowl Halftime show on Monday (garnering 133.5 million viewers, beating Michael Jackson’s 133.4 million in 1993), we wondered just how far gone Drake’s next move will be.
The record’s release announcement comes amidst Drake’s ongoing legal battles with UMG; his contract with the label is up for renegotiation this year. OVO Sound, Drake’s own label, released the record.
Ahead of his remaining Australian performances, scroll on for everything we know about the surprise release.
