FASHION WEEK has kicked off, starting with Milan, but eyes are already beginning to turn north towards Paris. Here, Jonathan Anderson will present his sophomore men’s runway collection, Dior Winter 2026, at 12:30am AEST on Thursday, 22 January.

The pressure on Anderson must be intense. As sole Creative Director of the Maison (the first since the founder), Anderson has oversight of both men’s and women’s fashion pillars, along with couture and accessories. But pressure is where Anderson seems to do his best work, the tension of creativity a prism for his vision.

His debut show gave some insight into this vision. His playful approach to blurring structural tailoring and frivolity, the Baroque colour palette and silhouettes, Anderson pivoted Dior into a modern fantasy. This was quickly played out on social media and red carpets – approach to design has always been an immersive one – where the narrative of the runway was expanded into a theatre of Dior ambassadors.

How Act Two of Anderson’s theatre will look is highly anticipated, to say the least. We hope to see you there.
