Music's most stylish men are not holding back for the industry's night of nights. See our rolling gallery of all the best looks

IN THE REALM OF celebrity style, musicians are usually the most audacious dressers. From their music videos, getting papped in front of an Erewhon on a smoothie run, or on the red carpet, the correlation between a musician and their style is intrinsic to their work more than, say, an actor, who’ll choose jeans and a T-shirt off-duty (though there’s still a place for that). And unlike the formal setting of the Golden Globes or Oscars – where a nostalgia for Hollywood has permeated in America’s conservative climate – ‘music’s night of nights’ is more eclectic, looser, and shows a wider display of personal style. So at the 67th Grammys today in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, there was plenty of that envelope pushing.
Of course, there was the usual beat of sequins on suits, Pope-worthy ornate embroidery, and iced-out jewels. On the trend front, it’s undeniable at this point how large Westerncore looms in the culture, especially in music: cowboy hats were aplenty, embroidered jackets decorated all-black fits, boots were made for walkin’. And with Men’s Fashion Month now wrapped, stylists and celebs are having a play with emerging styles: a little throw-away scarf (so small it doesn’t keep you warm; it’s just decorative) was a big fixture in Paris and Milan, as seen on Australia’s own Troye Sivan.
