A closer look at the latest elegant entry into Longines' 'Conquest' watch collection
The new generation of the Longines Conquest Heritage brings all the sporty elegance of the original to the new 2025 model

SWISS LUXURY BRAND LONGINES’ new Conquest Heritage is not just a nostalgic tribute to a classic watch. It is a declaration of intent.
It was in 1954 when the Maison introduced the ‘Conquest’ – an ambitious, almost cinematic name for a timepiece. Since then, the line has embodied a very specific vision: that of sporty elegance, the kind that accompanies you in the living room as well as on a sailboat, in a meeting or on a weekend at high altitude. The new generation Conquest Heritage brings all this to 2025, but with the awareness that today nothing can simply be an imitation of the past. There must be substance. There must be technique. And there must be taste.

Available in two sizes – 38 and 40 millimetres – the new Longines models are unisex and arrive in different colour variations, including midnight blue with rhodium-plated indexes, green, warm brown with rose gold indexes, solid black, or silver with touches of yellow gold. The dial’s surface is domed, sunburst, and vibrant like a vinyl record in the light.
The caseback features an 18-karat yellow gold medallion with a hand-engraved and enamelled depiction of a fish, which was a distinctive feature of the original Conquests (the gold models had a constellation instead).
Inside the case, however, it all gets far more forward-looking. The L888.5 calibre, exclusive to Longines, is fitted with a silicon balance spring and antimagnetic components that defy magnetic fields ten times beyond the ISO limits, with a 72-hour power reserve.
