#OscarPiastri performs the Griddy on... the griddy. It`s not often we see the Aussie #F1 driver get animated, but after claiming victory in the #MiamiGP, his fourth win for the 2025 season, he let loose.
Turns out, the cast of #Warfare got pretty creative with the nicknames they assigned each other on set.
“Will [Poulter] was our daddy,” #JosephQuinn tells Esquire, “He daddy’d us in many ways.”
But the nicknames served another purpose as a militaristic bonding exercise that’s also used by US Navy SEALs, something co-directors Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza wanted to foster in the cast.
“He was incredible. And took his leadership role very seriously,” Quinn continues of Poulter. “There was a lot of extracurricular care in this that he gave everyone.”

On the set for `The Narrow Road to the Deep North`, #JacobElordi reminded #SimonBaker of himself as a studious young actor.
"You sat there with your notepad and pen, and we`d be talking about stuff and you`re like [taking notes]," says Baker. "I was like, `Oh my god, I remember that`, like I`ve got to hang on to these thoughts, these ideas."
