This week, it’s hard to go past the devilish good looks of esteemed actor and filmmaker Bradley Cooper, as he stars in his second Louis Vuitton ‘Tambour’ watch campaign. Shot by legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti, with an accompanying campaign video by renowned Hollywood director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash; La La Land; Babylon), the watch campaign highlights the Maison’s newly streamlined, reinterpreted Tambour watch from 2002.
Over in Europe, some of Hollywood’s actors are arriving in Venice for the 80th Venice International Film Festival, an elegant affair which guarantees some interesting watch spots.

Louis Vuitton unveils new Tambour campaign feat. Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper is a man of many talents, lending himself across a plethora of creative pursuits like acting, directing, screenwriting and producing. Now, the 48-year-old Hollywood movie star can add accredited watch enthusiast to his repertoire thanks to the unveiling of his second campaign with Louis Vuitton, specifically to promote the Tambour watch. First released in 2002, the original Tambour was an iconic release from a brand that wasn’t entirely known for its watchesâLouis Vuitton is a fashion brand, first and foremost. Under the watchful eye of Jean Arnault, director of marketing and development for watches at Louis Vuitton, and La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the Maisonâs watchmaking manufacture in Geneva, the newly reinterpreted Tambour honours the original timepiece from 2002 whilst integrating an aesthetic that is totally modern, contemporary and genderless.

It’s always a thrill to see Patrick Dempseyâaka McDreamyâout in public sporting a new timepiece from the iconic Swiss watchmaker, TAG Heuerâyes, the actor is a brand ambassador, but he’s also a genuine watch (and car) enthusiast. So, it was no surprise to see the Ferrari actor at the 80th Venice Film Festival, dressed to the nines wearing a limited-edition TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche RS 2.7. The eye-catching timepiece is not only an audacious nod to the 50th anniversary of the Porsche RS 2.7, but it yields as one of the most coveted chronographs in TAG Heuer’s current Carrera collection.

Omega x Swatch reveal new ‘MoonSwatch’
Blink and you might have missed this newest ‘MoonSwatch’ unveiling this week. In line with the rare blue supermoon on August 30, Omega x Swatch dropped its latest MoonSwatch modelâa new Mission to Neptune (a favourite of Daniel Craig). Itâs one of the hardest models to come by, and is scarcely available at Swatch boutiques around the world. Now, the new MoonSwatch ‘Mission to Moonshine Gold Blue Moon’ is the first model with a gold-plated hand outside of the Gray âMoonâ case and was strictly available to purchase for one day only at select Swatch boutiques around the world.
