Tiffany & Co.

IN ‘COLLABS we never predicted happening’, Tiffany & Co. has paired up with The Pokémon Company and New York-based artist Daniel Arshram for a capsule collection of fine jewellery, complete with Tiffany Blue Poké Ball jewellery box.

Inspired by Arkham and Pokémon’s February 2022 Tokyo joint exhibition, ‘A Ripple in Time’, which featured Pokémon sculptures with Arsham’s signature eroded ‘future relics’ gem treatment. The nine-piece collection features all the faves: Pikachu, Cuban, Charmander, Mew, Jigglypugg and Squirtle, across a range of finishes.

The Poké de resistance is an 18-karat yellow gold Pikachu necklace accented with diamonds in place of Arsham’s eroded gems, and comes in two sizes and the Blue Pokêball. Seven oxidised sterling silver pendants with diamond accents featuring the other creatures are also on offer, including a very cute charm bracelet. This isn’t the first time the artist and jewellery house have collaborated, but it’s certainly his cutest collab yet. “With Pokémon and Tiffany, itself, there’s a sense of cultural permanence about each,” Arsham said of the collection.

But don’t get your hopes up, The Tiffany & Co., Arsham Studio, and Pokémon collection will only be available for a very limited time—and according to reports, currently only being sold across Japan and North America. But as any good Australian collector know, if there’s a will, there’s a way (to get something shipped to Australia) and the collection will be available online from November 29, but you do need to enrol ahead of time. For those travelling this December, you might be able to catch them in store by visiting the Tiffany & Co. Landmark in New York City and the Omotesando store in Tokyo this December. Now, GO!
