Usher is coming to Australia in 2025
The eight-time Grammy winner is bringing his Past Present Future tour to Sydney and Melbourne at the end of the year

OMG. Usher has just announced he his bringing his ‘Past Present Future’ tour to Australia in 2025.
“I’m bringing the A to the AUS!!” – whatever that means – was how the eight-time Grammy winner singer announced the tour on his Instagram. The Past Present Future tour, which kicked off in Washington D.C. last August, has so far covered the US, UK, and Europe. Now bringing it Down Under, the ‘Yeah!’ singer returns to our corner of the world for the first time in 14 years. (As one of the Gen Z on the Esquire team, I have distinct memories of Usher songs playing throughout primary school discos.)
Usher has described the show as “a celebration of the past 30 years and a glimpse into the future”, which features an epic 47-song setlist of his greatest hits, including ‘U Got It Bad’, ‘How U Remind Me’, and ‘Burn’. He took a brief break from the tour for the Met Gala this week, where the R&B musician was the night’s surprise musical performance, performing a short setlist on the Temple of Dendur inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Of course, adhering to the dandy theme, he changed through a rotation of colourful suiting, ending on an all white ensemble.
In addition to the Australian tour, the multi-platinum winner is bringing his musical Confessions as a part of his global tour, performing several dates in two cities.
