‘The White Lotus’ guests have sterling taste in watches
The resortwear says a lot about these rich people, but it's their watches that tell us about their taste

IF WHAT WE WEAR can reveal things about our character and taste, watches are about wearing it on our wrists. The materials, precious stones, dial sizes, widths and design of a watch can say a lot about you and the things you value. This is especially true for our season three guests of The White Lotus, who’ve so far shown a wide range of tastes.
The Mike White-created series has garnered a fan-base for its travel-porn locations and hedonistic voyeurism. Though the clothes on the show haven’t yet sparked entire aesthetic movements like other productions dedicated to depicting the über-rich (we miss you, Succession), that might be the point: the show as a realistic study on what travelling millionaires actually wear.
The specialised world of watches can let out the inner-nerd from within; an entire character encased in a chunky 44mm. You can imagine Saxon pumping iron at the gym with a tech-y Hublot, or his parents gifting each other matching gold Rolexes for their anniversary. Uncannily well-matched to their characters, we dive into the watches we’ve spotted on the third season of the hit show so far, and what they reveal about their wearers.

All of the luxury watches in ‘The White Lotus’ season 3, so far
Rick: Timex Q GMT

Price: $400
That’s our sensitive guy! Not one for a flashy timepiece, Rick has brought enough emotional baggage to the White Lotus. This practical Q GMT from Timex with a rubber strap is practical for the humid Thai heat. In the movie business, this is the type of watch that’s ideal when on a busy film set. Comparatively affordable, Rick wore the watch in episode four aboard Greg-Gary’s yacht.
Saxon Ratliff: Hublot Big Bang Unico Black Magic

Price: $34,300
There are deplorable characters you love to hate. Unfortunately, Sax Ratliff (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger), is not one of them. Season three’s incarnation of the preppy finance bro appeared in the first episode with this technical looking piece from Hublot. You can bet this is the type of watch he compares dial sizes with his friends in the gym. And for this character, it’s always in the name: Big Bang.
Saxon Ratliff: Rolex Milgauss

Price: $11,000 – $25,000
Compared to his technical Hublot, Saxon’s Rolex Milgauss is a classic. It might even be an heirloom passed down from his father, Timothy, considering his own watch from the Swiss watchmaker. But Saxon still loves himself a technical timepiece; the watch has its origins in science with an ability to resist magnetic fields.
Timothy Ratliff: Rolex Day-Date 40

Price: $76,900
As the head of the family, Timothy Ratliff (Jason Isaacs) wears a stately Rolex Day-Date 40 in yellow gold. The Southern extravagance comes out in the diamond hour markers; he isn’t one to get it iced out, but still wants to wear his money in some clear way.
Victoria Ratliff: Rolex Day-Date 40

Price: $76,900
The Ratliff parents aren’t one to couple dress (such things are beneath Victoria, played by Parker Posey), but they will match their watches. Victoria chose a matching gold dial for her Rolex Day-Date with diamond hour markers.
Lochlan Ratliff: Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch Mission to Saturn

Price: $435
We’ve all had some cloth strapped watch as a kid, though Lochlan Ratliff (Sam Nivola) gets the most luxe version of it. Frequent collaborators Omega and Swatch have combined the tech behind their Seamaster and MoonSwatch designs for this series. Speaking to his adolescence, the youngest Ratliff has been sporting the Saturn version.
Sritala: Jacob & Co. Fleurs de Jardin in rose gold with pink sapphires

Price: estimated $700,000
A true manifestation of the “What would you buy if you could buy anything?” question. As the owner of the Thailand White Lotus, Sritala (Lek Patravadi) certainly has the flashiest timepiece on the list, from New York watchmaker Jacob & Co (the same brand behind Tom Brady’s Super Bowl yellow sapphire encrusted watch, which was worth $1.18 million). In what’s supposed to depict a garden of flowers on your wrist, the colour and splendour of the timepiece plays to Sritala’s former life as an actress and performer.
Fabian: TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Solid Gold 39mm

Price: $33,350
Fabian (Christina Friedel) is the docile White Lotus manager who has aspirations of one day performing for the guests. This solid gold creation from TAG Heuer seems a little bold considering we don’t hear as much as a peep from him per episode. The black leather strap, too, provides a strong contrast. What’s simmering under his serene surface?
Rick: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust

Price: from $15,000
The stressed-out Hollywood producer is the only other guest sporting a Rolex; he wears his one with a leather strap. Rick (Walton Goggins) doesn’t come across as someone for flashy wrist-candy. Despite his casual clothes, his watch is the only piece keeping him grounded.
Laurie: Cartier Baignoire mini

Price: $11,800
Out of the girl-trippers, Laurie (Carrie Coon) is the only white collar worker, so a classic piece from Cartier would be appropriate for the office. But that’s not to say this design from the French house can’t be flashy; a more bedazzled version was seen recently on Timothée Chalamet at the 2025 Oscars.
Jaclyn: Hermès Nantucket watch in rose gold

Price: $25,180
If we have to picture these guests back in their natural habitats away from the White Lotus, Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) is probably the type of Hollywood upper-cruster who collects Hermès Birkin bags. Considering clients of the French luxury brand tend to amass a portfolio of products before being given access to the highly-coveted bag, Jaclyn might’ve bought their Nantucket watch as a stepping-stone.
