Shop SSENSE sale March 2025
Shop Esquire’s edit of the SSENSE March 2025 sale

REJOICE! Menswear Christmas has arrived, or at least one of two big sales SSENSE, the Canadian e-commerce site, hosts annually has. A reminder: SSENSE sales are vicious. If you’re familiar to the website’s vast white backdrop, you’d know that stock is limited, and there’s nothing more disappointing than seeing your size greyed out with an aggressive “OUT OF STOCK”. And with prices up to 70 percent off, it’s advised that you move quickly in this instance.

Here at the Esquire offices, we’ll be observing this sale by grabbing pieces for the colder season ahead. And as well-seasoned shoppers by profession, we understand that flicking through SSENSE’s pages (which can reach the triple digits) can be time-consuming, vision-blurring work. So, for the March 2025 sale, the editors of this title have come together to bring the cream of the crop to the surface. What will you be copping?

Our Legacy Pink Cable Sonar Roundneck Sweater

I’ve been leaning into more colourful knitwear to make my outfits pop under my coat or slung over my shoulders. I like the lace-like construction of this knit from Scandi brand Our Legacy to contrast with the darker shirt. It’s like wearing your grandmother’s lace curtains. –Tyler Dane Wingco, Junior writer

ICECREAM Blue Running Dog Double Scoop Jeans

Over time I’ve seen countless skaters and hip-hop artists wearing these style of jeans-slash-jorts with the eye catching running dog design sitting on the crotch. Not only do I see these jeans as somewhat of a staple in streetwear (designed by legends Pharrell and Nigo), I also think these jeans are super fun and can make your fit pop. (Just prepare yourself for the stares to your nether area.) – Jasper Karolewski, Videographer

Dries Van Noten Green Printed Tie

Ever since Saint Laurent’s SS25 runway, I’ve been wanting to incorporate more ties and suiting into my wardrobe, but I’ve been limited by the one tie I own (and the one I steal from my partner). I love this one from Dries Van Noten — the loud pattern and colouring gives me big ’70s vibes in a retro-chic way, and it’s a wool-silk blend, which will look and feel luxe. – Dani Maher, Senior content editor

Emanuele Bicocchi Silver Knots Necklace

A recent rewatch of Normal People reminded me of the value of a good silver chain. This sterling silver, knotted-style necklace from Emanuele Bicocchi is simple, but effective. – Cayle Reid, Content producer

JW Anderson Brown Gradient Sweater

I love procrastinating my way through the end of summer by thinking about what knitwear I’ll be wearing come winter. This brushed alpaca and sheep wool sweater from JW Anderson is a stylish solution to the ‘sweater that will go with everything’ conundrum. – Amy Campbell, Features director

Dries Van Noten Brown Beaded Shirt

This sale is the perfect time to grab some of Dries Van Noten’s last pieces he designed at his namesake brand. This shirt encapsulates everything the Belgian designer has become known for over his nearly four decade career: floral, printed, embellished. – Tyler Dane Wingco, Junior writer

Wales Bonner Red Howard University Edition ‘Howard’ T-Shirt

For her autumn/winter 2024 collection, Grace Wales Bonner partnered with the historic Washington D.C. college Howard, paying homage to its rich music, literature and sartorial traditions. This T-shirt from the collection is about to wriggle its way into my weekend rotation. – Amy Campbell, features editor

Axel Arigato Grey Beyond Signature Sweater

As we head into winter, knitwear will once again become a staple in my wardrobe. I think this sweater is the perfect addition. I particularly love slouchy, slightly oversized pieces that offer both warmth and a relaxed, cozy fit – perfect for layering during the colder months. – Kailee Waller, Fashion assistant

Puma All-Pro NITRO ‘Polar Express’ Basketball shoes

Work, uni, travel – this bag fits it all. Large enough for the heftiest of laptops or Stanley Cups, it’s a great addition for anyone who prioritises function without sacrificing style. – Lameah Nayeem, Intern

Helmut Lang Black Tuxedo Car Coat

This black tuxedo coat with satin detailing from Helmut Lang is the perfect winter piece. Super easy to dress down for the office by pairing with oversized denim and flats, or to dress up with a little black dress and a kitten heel. – Scarlett Wallace, Media coordinator

Marni Blue Leather BigFoot 2.0 Sneakers

I love big over sized looking shoes. With a throwback to ’90s/00s skate and fashion culture, it’s definitely safe to say we’ve come full circle. Over the last few years a handful of brands, both designer and streetwear, like Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, PDF, ERL, MSCHF and Marni have all had a go designing chunky streetwear shoes. In my opinion, these shoes are heaps of fun and can really create an interesting silhouette with your fit. – Jasper Karolewski, Videographer

Ganni Blue Foil Izey Jeans

Truthfully, I don’t need another pair of jeans—but a sale isn’t just about practicality. So, naturally, I’ll be styling these with boots, a white tee, and a bomber when winter rolls around. – Arielle Katos, Digital director
