The best TV series, movies and documentaries to stream in March
Don't bother wasting time scrolling through every streaming platform to find something to watch this March. Instead, let the editors of Esquire select the month's viewing highlights for you

SUMMER HAS OFFICIALLY run its course. Of course, there’s still plenty of heat to go around, but days that offer the requisite weather for an afternoon by the beach are threatening to become less frequent. But rather than lament the loss of warmer weather, let’s look on the bright side: spending the evening streaming the latest hit shows and films is becoming more appealing by the day.
The new content coming to streaming platforms in March is worth staying in for. On Binge, The White Lotus is still pumping out new episodes every week. Drive To Survive will return to Netflix just in time to build hype for the 2025 F1 season. And over on Disney+ Matt Murdock is making his long-awaited return as Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again.
As usual, choosing what to spend your precious time watching is the hardest part. The big hitters like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime are so packed with must-watch films and shows that it can be difficult to discern what’s worth your time and what’s best left on the back burner – especially when you’re prone to indecision and are paying for the luxury of choice with subscriptions to multiple platforms.
Not to worry, though, Esquire has you covered. To help you avoid being paralysed with indecision during a dreaded doomscroll, we’ve rounded up all the very best films and shows coming to streaming platforms, so you know what to stream in March 2025.
What’s new on Netflix Australia, March 2025

March Netflix Highlight – Drive To Survive, season 7
March on Netflix will be marked by the return of Drive To Survive on March 7th, giving us just enough time to restart our F1 obsession before the Australian Grand Prix on March 16th. Details on the new season are sparse, but the series’ official poster features driver’s champion Max Verstappen watching McLaren and Ferrari cars in his rearview mirror, with the tagline ‘Watch Your Back’. This would seemingly be in reference to the fact that the 2024 F1 season was far more competitive than years past, with both McLaren and Ferrari finishing above Verstappen’s Red Bull in the constructor’s championship, while seven different drivers won at least one race. Of course, there was also plenty of drama, with Daniel Ricciardo being sacked midway through the year and plenty of other tiffs. Expect it all to replayed with further insight in the new season of the series.

March Stan Highlight – The Apprentice
If you’ve got a stan subscription, you’ll have a busy month ahead, starting with the streaming debut of The Apprentice. With Donald Trump rarely out of the headlines these days, The Apprentice offers a look into the makings of the US President. Also on Stan in March is Nine Bodies In A Mexican Morgue, which follows nine strangers who find themselves lost in a remote Mexican jungle after their plane crashes. Their trials aren’t over however, as they start being murdered one by one.
For NRL fans, there’s Revealed: Craig Bellamy – Inside The Storm, a documentary about Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy that was filmed during the 2024 season. What’s new on Amazon Prime Video Australia, March 2025
March Amazon Prime Video Highlight – It Ends With Us
Truth be told, we haven’t selected It Ends With Us as Amazon Prime’s monthly highlight because it’s a particularly compelling watch. We’d even go as far to say that this is a bad movie. But given the drama and ongoing court cases surrounding its co-stars, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, we think that it’s at least worth a watch. Based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, It Ends With Us centres around the relationship between Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid, while seemingly benign at first, Kincaid’s behaviour becomes increasingly toxic and abusive.

What’s new on Apple TV+, March 2025
March Apple TV+ Highlight – The Studio
Seth Rogen stars as the newly-appointed head of a Hollywood studio struggling to keep up in the age of streaming in The Studio. Seems a little ironic for a show that will release on Apple TV+, don’t you think? Whatever; Zac Efron, Zoë Kravitz, Anthony Mackie, Martin Scorsese, Steve Buscemi and Olivia Wilde are all set to appear as themselves, so we won’t miss it.
