IT’S NOT EVERY DAY you see an aerialist walking down a wall shared by a trailblazing Sydney fashion brand and a Hertz rental carpark. But last Wednesday, this scene was brought to life in front of hundreds of people to celebrate the launch of two.one, a new functional fashion brand formed by Farage founder Joe Farage and menswear designer Quentin Hart. The aerialists — which are highly trained people who perform acrobatics high above the ground — descended the exterior of the Farage flagship dressed in pieces from two.one. In addition to being a fashion spectacle for the ages, it was also proof these clothes can withstand pretty intense activity.

And that was just the pre-show entertainment. Following the ‘vertical runway’ display, an actual runway show took place inside the Hertz garage. A cast of characters walked in highly technical pieces from the brand, while Justin McInerney, Logan McDonald and Will Hayward of the Sydney Swans took the night off training to close the show wearing two.one’s signature piece, a waterproof bomber jacket in blue camo. If you didn’t want the jacket before seeing the AFL superstars rep it, you most definitely did afterwards.

Consisting of lightweight rain jackets crafted from the most durable materials — two.one is crafted to the same meticulous standards as Farage’s suits — puffer vests, gym-ready shorts and functional track pants, the brand’s first collection is just as suited to the city guy who’s constantly on the go, as it is someone who lives by the coast and needs good gear to face the elements in.
