TAG Heuer returns as official timekeeper of the New York City Marathon
TAG Heuer makes its return as Official Timekeeper of the TCS New York City Marathon, nearly a decade after stepping back.

TAG HEUER IS BACK AT THE STARTING LINE.
Announced today, the Swiss watchmaker has resumed its role as the official timekeeper of the TCS New York City Marathon.
For TAG Heuer, timekeeping has never been a passive act. Since developing the first mechanical stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second in 1916, TAG Heuer has made a name timing some of the most elite arenas in sport – from Formula One to the Olympic Games – where the difference between glory and defeat is often a matter of milliseconds.
The New York City Marathon is a different kind of race – a sweaty 42 km trip through its five boroughs – but its essence aligns perfectly with TAG Heuer’s ‘Designed to Win’ philosophy, first introduced at Watches & Wonders this year.
From the countdown clock at the expo to the final push down Central Park South, TAG Heuer’s presence will be woven through the experience.
More than two million spectators. Over 50,000 runners. Each of them chasing a deeply personal victory – and now, each marked by the same precision as an elite sports event.

It’s a moment of high horology meeting high heart rate.
“Time is what defines us,” says CEO Antoine Pin, “What we do with it, what we make of it.” That sentiment couldn’t feel more at home in New York.
TAG Heuer will also gift elite finishers the brand’s Connected Calibre E4 Sport Edition. It’s a quiet reminder that in this race, as in life, the best timing is the kind you carry forward.
Because ultimately, to time the New York City Marathon is to honour the sublime tension between discipline and desire. Between finish lines and fresh starts. And nobody does that quite like TAG Heuer.
