AC/DC announces 2025 Australian tour

It's happening: after 10 years, AC/DC is returning to Australia this summer with a run of five stadium shows, and a headlining act at the BP Adelaide Grand Final

AFTER 10 YEARS, AC/DC is coming back home to Australia this November and December 2025.

The famed rock-band is kicking off their Australian Power Up tour in Melbourne on November 12, completing a nationwide lap of four other stadium shows in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. Alongside their tour, it was also announced that the band will be headlining the BP Adelaide Grand Final concert on November 30.

What music can you expect on the setlist? The Rock Hall-inducted band will presumably play classics from their 17 studio albums, including from their latest Power Up, which came out in 2020. The touring lineup will include the current squad of Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.

Who is touring with AC/DC in Australia 2025?

Amyl and the Sniffers will being touring with AC/DC on their Australian tour. If you’re not familiar with who’s behind the Melbourne pub rock band, it consists of vocalist Amy Taylor, drummer Bryce Wilson, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, and bassist Gus Romer, who released their debut album in 2019.

Tickets for AC/DC’s Australian shows go on sale Thursday, June 26.

Sydney tickets: Thursday, 26 June, 9am (AEST)
Brisbane tickets: Thursday, 26 June, 11am (AEST)
Melbourne tickets: Thursday, 26 June, 1pm (AEST)
Perth tickets: Thursday, 26 June, 1pm (AWST)

All tickets can be purchased via Ticketek. Given the rarity of an AC/DC performance on home soil, you can expect both shows to sell out within minutes.
