Inside the White Party that brought Drake, Tom Brady and Machine Gun Kelly to the Hamptons
At the fourth annual White Party hosted by billionaire Michael Rubin, the biggest names in entertainment and sport gathered. Obviously, our invite got lost in the mail
THERE ARE VERY FEW parties capable of assembling the world’s biggest names in entertainment and sport under one roof in the Hamptons for a night. Yet year after year, billionaire business mogul Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July White Party remains a magnet for stardom. Drake, Tom Brady, Machine Gun Kelly, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion and Camilla Cabello were just some of the noteworthy guests in attendance at this year’s bash, sporting, of course, summer whites for the evening.
Gatsby-esque in scale, this year’s White Party marked the fourth hosted by Michael Rubin, alongside his fiancé, model Camille Fishel. And the party only seems to be getting bigger and bigger every year, the event becoming a content fest of sorts.
Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s White Party, and all the A-listers posting about it.
Who is Michael Rubin?
Founder and chief executive of online sports merchandise retailer, Fanatics, Michael Rubin, 51, formed the company in 2011 after selling another company to eBay for a reported USD$2.4 billion. Today, Fanatics is one of the leading companies in sports licensing, with a reported value of USD$31 billion according to a Bloomberg report.
As for Rubin’s worth, Forbes estimates a net worth of USD$11.5 billion in 2024.
Who attended Rubin’s White Party?
“We make a joke that it’s 400 of our closest friends coming over to catch up,” Fishel told the New York Times. Indeed, from the video Rubin posted to Instagram of highlights from the night, which was held at their US$50 million two-acre oceanfront mansion in the Hamptons, it’s clear the mogul isn’t lacking friends. Notable attendees include Tom Brady, Jay-Z, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, DJ Khaled, Emily Ratajkowski and more.
At this year’s soirée, guests enjoyed performances by Shaboozey, Mary J. Blige, and ending with a rooftop performance from Lil Wayne with a fireworks display. Sportier festivities kicked off the event on Wednesday evening with a beach football game led by Brady and quarterback for the Houstan Texans C.J. Stroud. The winner? Stroud.
And no great party goes without a goodie bag. Guests who RSVP-ed received a personalised pair of white Air Jordan 1 low colourway sneakers, a collaboration between Nike and rapper Travis Scott, with a note inside the box that read, “Don’t puke on these. Not for resale . . . I know who you are.” There’s certainly no chance of flipping those kicks.
