The 2026 Ralph Lauren Australian Open collection.

WITH SUMMER JUST AROUND THE CORNER, it can mean only one thing: the Australian Open is on its way and American brand Ralph Lauren is once again the official outfitter for Australia’s biggest tennis comp. Joining 2026 marks its sixth consecutive year as the tournament’s Official Outfitter. The American house will outfit up to 4,000 staff, from ball kids and chair umpires to on-site personnel, continuing a partnership that has become as synonymous with Melbourne’s summer as sunscreen and strawberries.

This ongoing collaboration positions the Australian Open alongside Wimbledon and the US Open in Ralph Lauren’s Grand Slam portfolio, a hat trick of sporting prestige and preppy flair. The AO uniforms will feature moisture-wicking fabrics and built-in UV protection, essential armour for the January sun, while the signature Polo aesthetic remains intact. Ball kids’ shirts are crafted from recycled polyester yarns, underscoring the brand’s steady move towards more sustainable design.

For the second consecutive year, Ralph Lauren will also serve as the Official Sunglasses partner, supplying eyewear to ground staff, officials, and ball kids, a thoughtful nod to both fashion and function.

Fans can join the action with the 2026 Ralph Lauren Australian Open Collection, a range of polo shirts, jackets, caps, and accessories designed in a vivid colour palette inspired by the energy of the tournament. The first release, a series of commemorative towels, lands online in October 2025, followed by the full assortment in November at on-site pop-ups, Polo Ralph Lauren stores, and globally online.

Those seeking something a little more personal can make use of the Create-Your-Own customisation program, returning to Melbourne Park for AO26. Tennis fans will be able to embroider or print their names or initials alongside new tennis-inspired motifs, including the brand’s signature Polo icons, on classic Ralph Lauren pieces. The customisation options will also be available online for those watching from home.

Ralph Lauren will again present the Glam Slam, an inclusive event hosted during the Open by the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community within the sport.

From the court to the crowd, Ralph Lauren’s partnership with the Australian Open continues to weave classic American style through one of Australia’s most iconic sporting events. A match point in fashion diplomacy.
