WE HAVE NOW entered the final stretch of winter. And although warmer temps are in sight, there’s still at least a month of prime stay-at-home time to go. So, why not spend the final month of hibernation breezing through the best series and films that streaming services have to offer, wine in hand, popcorn in place. You deserve it.

This month of September, there’s a bevy of new and exisiting titles hitting streaming platforms for viewers to devour. Fancy a dark comedy/horror that follows the path of a drug-fuelled grizzly bear killing anything and anyone in its sight? Then Cocaine Bear is the flick for you. Or perhaps you’re looking for a light-hearted Disney classic for the weekend ahead? The Little Mermaid will have you covered.

There’s also the return of much-loved dramas, like Morning Wars and Billions, that will keep you entertained for weeks on end.

September Netflix Highlight – Cocaine Bear

After a 500-pound black bear consumes a significant amount of cocaine belonging to a drug lord, the beast embarks on a drug-fuelled rampage, terrorising civilians from cops, criminals, tourists, teenagers and anybody brave enough to wander through the bear’s home. Incredibly, parts of this story are based off real-life events.
