THE 2023 ARIA AWARDS have come and gone once again—and not without the necessary glamour that tends to follow Australia’s premiere music awards. This year, some of our favourite artists cleaned up—Genesis Owusu, Esquire’s September cover star, took out the coveted album of the year award for his sophomore record Struggler, along with the best independent release and best hip/hop rap release gongs, while Forest Claudette won big in the best souL/R&B category. Troye Sivan, meanwhile, wiped the floor, collecting four awards including best solo artist.

But let’s be honest—it’s the red carpet that makes the Aria Awards such a fun event to tune into. And this year, the menswear on show didn’t disappoint. While Sivan opted for a canary yellow shirt as part of his head-to-toe Prada ensemble, Ruel wore a shirt by Louis Vuitton and Lime Cordiale turned up in their signature ’70s style.

Here, we take a look through all the best dressed guys, who made a very convincing case for the music industry’s stylish credentials. They might be musicians first, but these guys are most definitely style icons too.
