NOTHING HITS QUITE LIKE an Australian summer at the beach. Bouncing from the surf to the sand and back again, only leaving the beach for a seafood dinner outside with friends and family, itâs the one time of year everyone can agree on.
And there are few Aussie beachside locations quite as iconic as Palm Beach, the setting of beloved soap Home and Away and, as of recently, the backdrop to Tommy Hilfigerâs Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.
Starring seven members of the extended Klim-Ellis family, the campaign is a celebration of the modern Australian family and the moments that make a memorable summer experience. Bursting with warmth and good vibesâyou can almost smell the eucalyptus on the sea breezeâthe photographs feature Balinese Princess and TV and fashion personality Lindy Klim and her husband Adam Ellis, alongside their children Rocco Klim, Frankie Klim, Goldie Ellis, Stella Klim and her partner Bede Moyle.
From playing around in the back yard to taking a walk on the beach, the campaign images, photographed by renowned Australian fashion photographer Georges Antoni, make us nostalgic for summers pastâand excited for summers ahead.
Of course, it wouldnât be a Tommy Hilfiger campaign without a focal moment from the collection, with pieces from the brandâs Spring/Summer 2023 collection that blend seamlessly in the local landscape. A modern vision of preppy style, the collection features button-up shirts in cool summer linens, the iconic Tommy Hilfiger Polo shirt, chinos and a selection of the brandâs heritage styles, rendered in its iconic red, white and blue colours.
The TH Monogram plays a starring role in this collection, with an updated version featured across the brandâs most classic styles, as part of âa season of American reinventionâ.
It goes to show that while Tommy Hilfiger might be the brand we buy, itâs equally for the whole family. And here, the Klim-Ellisâ show us how to style the Spring/Summer 2023 collection for long days spent at the beach, with baseball caps and linen shirts layered over tees for a look thatâs just as effortless as it is cool.
If the weather reports are anything to go by, this summer is gearing up to be a hot one in Australia. As we peel off our winter layers and think about what weâll be wearing in the months ahead, itâs safe to say that Tommy Hilfigerâs latest local campaign is tempting us to pull on a pair of red, white and blue boardshorts, grab one of the brandâs super-soft beach towels and call it a day.
Because when youâre at the beach from dawn to dusk, what more could you possibly need? Maybe a crisp cotton shirt and some jeans for drinks later on⊠but of course, we can find that at Tommy Hilfiger too.
The Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer 2023 collection is in stores now.
