What is Cry to Heaven about?
Written by the same author as Interview with a Vampire, Cry to Heaven is set in 18th-century Italy as it follows a Venetian noble and a castrated singer from Calabria (presumably Adele’s role). Their paths cross as they both try to succeed in the competitive world of opera (perhaps we’ll hear the British singer in a new vocal style), touching on themes of identity, betrayal, love and the pursuit of artistic and personal freedom.
When will Tom Ford’s Cry to Heaven be released?
Pre-production is now underway in London and Rome. The film is anticipated for release in late northern autumn of 2026.
