IT’S OFFICIALLY THE start of the 2026 awards season with the 83rd Golden Globes this week. As we watch predictions come true, surprise wins, and sore losses in the weeks ahead, there is one certainty we can get hyped around: the big fits.

In fact, many of Hollywood’s best dressed men are nominated in the major categories, so we can bank of their attendance: Timothée Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, Michael B. Jordan, Jeremy Allen White, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oscar Isaac, Paul Mescal.

On the Aussie front, Elordi is the most nominated for his roles in Frankenstein (Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture) and The Narrow Road to the Deep North (Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series; about time after his Emmy snub last year for the Amazon show). In the main acting roles in a Motion Picture, Joel Edgerton for Train Dreams and Rose Byrne in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You are flying the flag. With her return to television, Sarah Snook has shed Shiv Roy with her heart-wrenching performance in All Her Fault. And, of course, Nick Cave titular song in Train Dreams scoring a Best Original Song in a Motion Picture nomination.

As for our internal awards race here in the Esquire office: who will win Most Stylish Cast? Currently in the lead in Marty Supreme and Frankenstein, with Sinners and One Battle After Another closely behind in our books.

So scroll on for the best dressed men of the 2026 Golden Globes.

All the best-dressed men on the Golden Globes 2026 red carpet

Hudson Williams

The Heated Rivalry star has brought the heat off the ice rink in Giorgio Armani. As much as we are advocating the revival of the tie, we’re huge fans of the Bvlgari jewellery, unbuttoned shirt and cummberbund combo.

Adam Brody, Leighton Meester

Brody and Meester are teen drama royalty who managed to graduate into a genuine Hollywood power couple. Brody’s red carpet look is a polarising one – usually, the contrast would be with a white jacket but this grey choice is, for us, the perfect modern twist. Snaps to the tinted eyewear as opposed to black-out sunglasses.

Connor Storrie

The other half of the Heated Rivalry double act, Storrie was always expected to bring a certain flair to his red carpet appearance. Enter, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello and an iconic choice in jewellery, Tiffany’s Bird on a Rock brooch. Storrie, we respect your game.

Paul Mescal

The Irish star has scrubbed up spectacularly well, with one of the more formal looks of the evening, supplied by Gucci, naturally. Mescal is a hot favourite to win tonight’s Best Supporting trophy for his performance in Hamnet.

Jacob Elordi

We hope that Elordi has a good physio because the boy from Brisbane is literally carrying the entire menswear scene on his back right now. The simplicity of going black and white with a double-breasted jacket and slightly looser-than-usual-trouser brings a loucheness to the tailoring. Spotted: the Bottega Roma lace-up. We are coveting.

Timothée Chalamet

Chalemet’s partnerships with Chrome Hearts continues. This time, in all black complete with matching Timberlands. We’re predicting this cropped haircut to be big in 2026. (“There’s something Manchester about it” said one colleague.) The departure of the TikTok low fade layered curls style couldn’t come fast enough.

Colman Domingo

Always one of the best on ground, Domingo has often opted for some serious drama when he walks the red carpet. But the first rule of great style is keep them guessing. This custom Valentino ensemble is one of the actor’s more demure looks. But not too demure, courtesy a heavily decorated lapel.

Patrick Schwarzenegger

The son of Arnold and White Lotus star looks schmick this tux with exaggerated lapels. Cool brooch, too.

Walton Goggins

If there’s a chance to add a kooky twist to the black tie dress code, trust Goggins to find a way to bring it to the carpet.

Oscar Isaac

Smash.

Jeremy Allen White

Jeremy Allen White is nominated for two Best Performance trophies this year. One for his turn as Bruce Springsteen in the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere and the second as Carmy Berzatto in The Bear. Add a third nomination for one of our favourite accessories of the night, a calla lily.

Michael B. Jordan

Against a sea of black, this chocolate Prada suit with a pastel yellow shirt is a refreshing shift in programing.

Noah Wyle

The doctor called and they said deep brown suit is sick. No notes.
