WHO NEEDS FACETIME, Instagram or Snapchat? The celeb group chat is where it’s at. When Tinseltown wants to connect with their current or former co-stars, they make an exclusive WhatsApp group to the delight (and envy) of all fans. From the Harry Potter stars having a huge WhatsApp group called “The Potterheads” to the Top Gun: Maverick crew who adorably text each other goodnight in their respective chat — apparently, Tom Cruise is heavy on the emojis — Tinseltown also loves those engaging in those never-ending conversations filled with banter and beer catch-ups.

Adding one more to the sky high pile of celeb WhatsApp groups we’d love to be added to is the Spider-Man chat. Yes, all the actors who have portrayed the dorky teenage crime-fighter Peter Parker have their own group message to talk all things creepy-crawly. Tom Holland, the current webbed hero, revealed during a new profile with The Hollywood Reporter that he regularly DM’s Tobey Maguire (who played Spider-Man in the original 2000s trilogy opposite Kirsten Dunst) and Andrew Garfield (who starred in The Amazing Spider-Man Series alongside Emma Stone).

The trio first established the Spider-Man brotherhood while filming 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home — Garfield previously said they bonded over the bathroom challenges while wearing the zip-less super suit — and have been in contact ever since.

“Myself, Andrew, Tobey — we have this amazing bond as three people who have been through something that is so unique that we really are like brothers,” Holland told the outlet, before revealing the comically-appropriate name of their chat. “We have a great group chat, and we catch up every now and then. It’s called the Spider-Boys.”

The interviewer, who had a hard time believing Holland, requested proof of said Spider-Man chat — which saw the 27-year-old Brit confidently whip out his phone and share their latest talking point. “I was doing a charity event in London for the Brothers Trust and I was asking if they would be so kind as to sign a poster to auction off. They were obviously happy to oblige.” As for what else the Marvel actors’ chat about? Holland joked it’s all just “Spider-Man stuff.” Of course. Surely, the viral Spider-Man meme has made the rounds, though?
