This September, they’ve unveiled a refreshed lineup of signature dishes, including indulgent Caviar Churros, Sydney Rock Lobster Risotto, and their renowned Suckling Pig. And for those with an appetite for adventure, the new six-course ‘tour de force’ tasting menu hits differently, featuring the finest seasonal produce and sustainably sourced seafood.

And the natural cherry (or perhaps limoncello) on top? The brand-new dessert cocktail trolley, designed by the one-of-a-kind David Caon, renowned for his mastery of everything from product design to luxury interiors. This sleek trolley rolls up with creations like the Catalina Signature Espresso Martini and the zesty Lemon Cheese Cake cocktail, seamlessly blending dessert and drinks into a perfectly paired indulgence.

Catalina has stayed true to the vision Judy McMahon and her late husband Michael set when they opened in 1994: a place where luxe dining meets easy-going Australian spirit. Today, with McMahon’s children James and Kate now sharing management duties, Catalina is appealing to a new generation while keeping its long-time fans hooked on those harbour views and award-winning wine list.

Reflecting on this significant milestone, Judy McMahon notes, “We’re thrilled to celebrate our 30th anniversary at what feels to us like the pinnacle of our journey so far.
