The best-dressed men from the 2025 Logie Awards
It may be cringe television, but the annual Logie Awards is still one of the few occasions to see some of Australia's best-dressed men

IT’S PEAK AUSTRALIAN CULTURE at its cringe-best: the annual Logie Awards. An event that sports varying interpretations of celebrity – from singers, actors, reality stars to random influencers and their plus ones – all vying for flash time on the red carpet and media walls and absolute fodder for conversations of best-dressed, worst speech and “who even are they” while grabbing coffee the morning after.
It may not be the Met Gala or Oscars, but it is ours. Distinctly so. Where else would entertainment’s “night of nights” be held at a casino? It’s also one of the few events where guests seem to be genuinely having a good time. Perhaps because it’s also one of the few events where throwing back some champagne isn’t just tradition, it’s encouraged. The risk of a stumble, a slurring of the speech and slip of a swear word inevitably does make for better viewing for those at home, after all.
While the demarcation between old and new guard of Australian television is becoming more pronounced (surely Heartbreak High cannot be the only youth-focused show on TV right now) they seem to be on the same page when it comes to styling. Dictated, of course, with some generational tweaks.

Mismatched blazers and trousers, clashing patterns or contrasting textures were the gold standard of the evening. The aforementioned Heartbreakers, co-stars Bryn Chapman Parish and James Majoos, both opted for this. The latter sans suit entirely, choosing instead clashing plaid trousers and shirt.
Guy Sebastian kept it neat as a pinstripe in Australian brand Salt Murphy with Cerrone jewellery embellishing the final look. Sam Corlett and Carlos Sansen worked with Paddington-based atelier Balancē for their styling. Corlett’s wave-like lapels are a signature finish for the brand, softening the lines of the jacket in parallel with its relaxed silhouette.

Award host Tai Hara took the Bond-route, with a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers. A reminder that often the classic choice can be a standout when everyone else opts for “edgy”.

But if you really want to see someone having a good time with their wardrobe, look no further than the people’s gardener, Costa Georgiadis. A t-shirt printed with flowers and floral arrangements hanging from both head and beard created by, if Instagram is correct, supplied by Sydney TAFE’s Floristry students.
