NOBODY HAD A Deus Ex Machina x MINI JCW collab on their 2025 bingo card (don’t lie, you definitely didn’t see this coming), but fashion loves a left-field team-up. And in a way, it makes a lot of sense. One’s a cult garage brand that managed to become the only of its kind to go mainstream, the other’s a former rally racer that’s now disguised as a city car. Neither are known for being ordinary, and together they’re tearing up the rulebook that delineates motorsport and streetwear.

MINI has been making cars since before most of us knew how to parallel park, while Deus has built a following around making apparel that can survive both the road and the après-ride beer. Together, they’ve stitched up a collection that works like a finely tuned engine.

The lookbook does most of the talking. There’s a Harrington jacket in stone beige, a yellow leather trenchcoat paired with green racing gloves, and some white coveralls stamped with a bold 37, a wink to MINI’s most famous racing number and a reminder that, yes, heritage can still be fashionable. For the dopamine dressers, there’s a geometric jacket that looks like Piet Mondrian designed trackside attire. Paired with tailored navy and a heavy-duty tote, it’s proof that garage gear can still be playful.

Like a MINI itself, the beauty here is in the details: high-grade fabrics, cuts that fit well, and enough durability to outlast the apparel that stalls after one season. That can be put down to Deus doing what Deus does best – making clothes that overlap between culture and craft.

The MINI x Deus Ex Machina capsule collection launches in Deus stores across the world and online from 8th September. We expect it to sell out fairly quickly, so get in on it fast.
